Aeroflot mends IT glitch, flight schedule soon to improve
MOSCOW, May 21 (PRIME) -- Russian airline Aeroflot has restored operations of the IT system after a glitch that delayed flights, and the situation will normalize soon, spokesman Mikhail Dyomin told reporters on Friday.
“According to our information, the work of the IT system has been mended. Meanwhile, due to a throng of passengers, the waiting time for check-in can be prolonged and the departure time can be changed. The situation will fully return to normal in the coming hours,” Dyomin said.
Aeroflot earlier warned about possible delays because of an overall technical problem at the supplier of IT services.
